This month we are excited to be hosting Brittney Baldwin she is a fabulous knitter and we are so glad to have her speak at the January meeting. She is in a Masters of Cultural Analysis and Social Theory program at Laurier and she is studying knitting as an aspect of identity, diaspora, and rebellion for her major research project. She is presenting about the history of knitting and its origins.
