It's a strange year, but we're going to pull out the stops for a virtual social with online Bingo, prizes, and more!
In the spirit of a good time (you'll see what I did there in a minute), we'd love for you to share your social beverage when we get together. I'm thinking a fancee hot chocolate myself, maybe with a candy cane stir stick. What will you have? Please share your social snacks and projects as well during the meeting.
How does this Bingo work?
Well, thank you for asking! How it works is you either download and print a card ahead of time, or create a new card online. What works for you is the right way to do it. Some of you have computers, some have multiple devices, some of you will be just on your smartphone, so use what works for you.
To get your card, go to Bingo Baker and carefully read the yellow instructions when you do. You can generate the card before the meeting starts or right before we get going! Will you be yelling BINGO?
December door prize
Games and a door prize? Why not!
Our Guild rocks - the news is spreading quickly! We are 125 members strong, and growing! Meeting virtually has enabled yarn enthusiasts from Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, Whitby, Simcoe, and as far away as New York City, to be a part of the Guild. That’s awesome!
As always, we had an excellent attendance - 100 people enjoyed two hours of great entertainment! Two very cool door prizes made it extra special. Caitlin Cull won a skein of yarn donated by our guest speaker, Laura Jones of Crooked Kitchen Yarn, and Diana Jones won the skein of Shibui Lunar and the Coriand3r stitch markers.
This month we have a gorgeous skein of Juniper Farm Herriot Fine in Silverstone to give away. At the end of the meeting, we’ll call a number chosen by the random selector. You could be the lucky person to win this skein! Don’t miss the opportunity to get in on the draw!
Your Membership team,
Nicole and Eileen
